Karver KSF2

The Karver furling spinnaker KSF is very simple and fits any asymetrical spinnaker.

The head of spinnaker is set in the cable terminal and an anti torsion on a tack free swivel located on the turret.
To rewind, is simply by activating the furling sheet, which swivels the head of the spinnaker, but not the tack.
The KSF has all the advantages of KF, and by adding a tack free swivel, it allows the winding of the spinnaker starting from the head. The spinnaker does not need to be modified.

 Performance:
The tack can be adjusted from the cockpit to fine tune spinnaker postion and shape. Once the luff is tensioned, the furling process is more efficient, enabling user to drop the sail faster.

Universal
The same furler can be swopped to be used for other sails ie: gennakers, asymmetrical spinnaker...

Weight gain
Compared to a standard KF unit, the only part added is the swivel at the top which helps the gain of weight. It is maintenance free.

The KF1 furler has a notch on the spool allowing fitting or removal of the loop line without removing the line cover or removing the furler from the yacht.( it is patented KARVER) The snap shackle fitted beneath the drum allows an easy implementation.
